I made this site to remember my sweet boy Matthew Lee. He passed away two months before his 5th birthday. He lived a happy life the short time he was here. He was born in San Diego Cali on June 14,1999 and passed away in Streetsboro Ohio April 9,2004 on Good Friday. And is missed very much and loved even more...

His legacy
Matthew Lee

Matthew Lee was born June 14,1999 with a rare condition called Hydranencephaly in which the brain does not fully develop.  Matthew could not walk or talk or do to much that a "normal" kid could but that doesn't mean he wasn't a happy beautiful perfect little boy. He smiled, laughed, played and went to school. He really wasn't much diffrent from any other kid. He knew what he wanted and knew how to get it. Doctor's told me he wouldn't live 15 mins if that to have his funeral planed when he was born. Everything he did they said he would and shouldn't do but he did anyways. The doctor's said he didn't know what was going on but I know that wasn't true that lil boy knew exactly what was going on. He had many problems that came from his underline problem he had Hydranencephaly/Hydrocephalus,  epilepsy, cerebral palsy, he had cortical blindness. He had 4 surgerys in almost 5 years and right before he passed away was going to have a 5th. He touched the lifes of everyone he meet even of people that never actully meet him even after he left us he is still touching people. I learned so much from him he made me a better person. And would not be who I am today if it was not for him. I could not have asked for a better son. Some people would look at him and just see a disabled boy but them that knew him or knew of him knew better they knew what a blessing he really was. special needs children are a true gift yes he passed away but I would never give up the time I had with him.
